My dad was an amazing and very popular man...he may have struggled to grasp academic skills like spelling and writing all his life but he more than made up for that through his caring,compassionate nature...he was always there with a warm hug and words of comfort for all that needed it,he could light up a room with his warmth,my younger brother,karl and i are so lucky to have him as our dad..he was a brillliant father,grandfather and uncle...kids loved my dad,he was so good with them...he will forever be missed and always be loved...xxx

Dad,my pain will never ease,little things bring happy memories of you flooding back,then the heartbreaking realisation that you are gone....it is so hard to take.You would have loved your new great grandson,Kofi James...and you have another great grandchild on the way...you were so great with kids dad,you should be here to hold them..my happiness at my grandchildren is tinged by sadness that you not here to see them...i love you dad,xxxx
